Register online for voting in upcoming elections. Share with your friends

Now you can register yourself for Voting and also get a voter ID card by only few clicks on online registration. So hurry up and get yourself registered in electoral roll on respective CEC ( Chief election Commissioner) or CEO ( Cheig Election Officer) websites and do not forget to share this page with your friends.

Eligibility:

1. You should be above 18 years
2. You should be living at the place for which you are registering for at least 6 months.
3. If you are student, you can also vote from the city of your college, hostel or your parent’s home.
4. If you are working and away from your permanent residence, you can also vote from your place of current residence if you have proof of residence for more than 6 months.

You have the power to vote now. To become a voter you only need to fill in the online application form (form 6). Once this Form is accepted, your name will be included in the Electoral Roll as a voter. You can also check the status of your application online.

Here are the 2 simple steps for enrolling as a voter -

Step I - Go to “Enroll Online” or "Online Voter Registration" link on Chief Election Commissioner Website (links are provided in the end of this blog) for particular state  and register yourself. If you are a new user, please sign up, you will obtain a user name and password.

Step II - Upload the following documents in the space mentioned in the Form. Uploading is optional.

1. Upload one passport size color photograph in the space mentioned in the Form. This is mandatory.
2. Upload Proof of your residence (such as driving license, passport, bank pass book, any postal letter received in your name on your address etc.).
3. Upload Proof of your age, such as birth certificate, school leaving certificate etc. However this is only required if you are between 18 and 21 years of age.

In case you are unable to upload the documents below then the Booth Level Officer (BLO) who will come to your residence to verify the information, will collect both the documents from you so please keep these ready.
